Reverse Engineering: process of taking apart a finished product in order to make the steps or materials needed to build from the beginning.

Once we’ve established goals that fit into our life, we can reverse engineer the process to achieving them. We can also use this process to help us set a more achievable goal (sometimes seeing the task at hand gives us a humbling dose of reality).

We begin at the end: what is the desired result?

  • A Kona Qualification?

  • A half Ironman PR?

  • First time Ironman?

  • Boston Qualifier marathon?

Whatever your goal is, we break it down piece by piece to design a better plan. There are a handful of questions to ask ourselves that can guide us in this process.
